The Viking Project is featured by ITV Borders

We are delighted to see The Viking Project featured by ITV Borders!
Now in its third year, the project gives young people the chance to learn through doing; restoring a traditional Stroma Yole while building confidence, teamwork, practical skills and maintaining connections to Eyemouth’s maritime heritage.
This is what meaningful, hands-on learning can look like: young people working alongside skilled people, in a real workshop, on a real project, with real purpose.
A huge thank you to everyone who has helped make the project possible so far, including Eyemouth High School, Historic Environment Scotland, Giacopazzi's, Scottish Borders Council and the young people who bring the project to life.
We are continuing to build support for the next stage of the project and would love to hear from anyone who would like to help us keep this opportunity available for more young people.
